Your Words Here in 2010?

Across our city, real life Brummies already run hundreds of blogs like this one, and are involved with many thousands more. Some have received national awards, or are regularly consulted by press and politicians. Increasingly, employers seek to hire those who can use the internet to communicate confidently, effectively and responsibly.

Now you can learn these skills for free, right here in Edgbaston!

To get involved contact Simon Redgrave at 0796 22 33 567 / simon@scholarsandwarriors.org, or visit www.alledgbaston.co.uk; click below for more information.
Constituency Director Jagwant Johal said; “As it moves forward, the All Edgbaston project continues to further an important aim of the One Edgbaston Partnership – collective local involvement. These new initiatives will support local people in developing their aspirations and highlighting their achievements.”
  • This year Podnosh (www.podnosh.com) will be bringing their successful Social Media Surgeries to the Constituency. These are free, friendly and professional drop in sessions, where you can meet up with others with the same interests and receive expert coaching.
  • A group of workless residents will be learning transferable skills and helping to promote local issues. The All Edgbaston Social Newsdesk will create opportunities for residents to research and produce quality pieces of video or written journalism with professional support.
